Volunteers Make the Difference!

Caring, dependable volunteers are always needed. We cannot expand our outreach and help more animals without your help.

We are in desperate need of volunteers. Not all help has to be on-site.

We have many virtual positions available. We need people who will help us network our cause and our animals. We have many dogs and cats who could go to breed specific rescues, but we need someone to contact them. We can't do it alone, but we know that with your help, we can continue to help so many more animals.

If you are unable to adopt or foster a needy dog at this time, you can still make a difference! Please consider sponsoring or donating to help keep these dogs until they can find the home they deserve.

What is required to be a volunteer for Pound Pups Rescue Group?

*Most important, is that you love dogs and cats and have a strong desire to be part of the solution to help give them a chance at a new life.

*All volunteers must submit a signed

document to the shelter and go though a orientation before being

allowed to handle the animal.

* You must follow all the rules at all times or you will not be allowed to help.

* You MUST respect the shelter, animals, and people at all times!

*Before you become a Volunteer

Before you become a volunteer,

we ask that you please come and visit Savannah Animal Control and take a tour. Some people can not deal with

the heartbreak of so many sad, neglected, homeless animals.

There are other ways you can help.

Just let us know .

We need volunteers to help organize fundraisers , post adoption events, and interact with the animals to give them a better chance of being adopted.

Bathe and groom the animals, take dogs for walks and playtime in our yard.

Clean cat cages. Brush and play with cats. Help with mailings. Publicize an event. Phone help, blog writers, you name it, anything to help get information out is truly helpful to us and the animals.

Event Coordinators/Event Volunteers:

Volunteers are needed for our adoption and fundraising events. Including, finding donations for prizes, silent auctions etc. Advertisement, phone and web work, manning a booth, selling items, taking adoption applications, setting up before

and cleaning up afterwards.
